The site contains news of the forthcoming Christmas Fair, guidance for Codsall residents, business and stallholders and photographs from previous events
2018 is the fourth year of the event and it continues to get bigger and better than ever with more entertainment, more food, more stalls and some surprises
This year, our stages move to the village square with live acts in front of the Crown and The Bull with bands and solo performers. The Salvation Army band will again treat us to some Christmas favourites as well accompanying the traditional Carols around the Christmas Tree in Station Road.
Our traditional Carol Service around the Christmas Tree, with the School and Church Choirs will be at 7pm as usual
At least five varied hot food outlets located throughout the Event Area and our village centre shops, cafes and pubs will all be open and also offering tasty snacks and meals
We will have again managed to secure the services of the brilliant street entertainer Steve Kaos and both Wolfie and Wendy will be visiting us from Molineux. The kids will love them.
This year, Santa’s Grotto will be in The Square near to The Bull for our younger visitors to meet Santa, receive a gift and post their wish list for Christmas
The Fairground will again take over the whole of The Crown car park. There will be lots of rides and games for the kids and there will also be the kiddies roundabout in Church Road and bouncy castles in The Bull garden
We expect to have over 50 stalls this year selling a whole variety of Christmas themed products, gifts and decorations
Codsall village shops, pubs and clubs will all be entering into the festive mood and will be open thought the event offering a wide range of hot and cold food. Some of the pubs and clubs will be offering further food and entertainment later in the evening
Read what some of last years guests thought of the 2017 fair
It was an absolute pleasure to attend and be part of an incredibly well organised and enjoyable event
There was a lovely atmosphere, similar to the German Market in Birmingham, which surprised and impressed me. More events like these fairs can only improve people's experience of Codsall. The marshals were very helpful and good natured in coping with their demanding logistical task, and I do think that the whole event was very well run
I thought it was a festive and successful evening. Many, many people I spoke to were having a great time. The music was drawing lots of people onto Station Road and there was a good atmosphere there. Best wishes
Thanks for a lovely time at the Xmas fair. It's a great way to start the festive season!
And count me in for next year. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and what a wonderful way to bring the community together with local musicians, local crafts, food, etc.
May I congratulate you. It was indeed a wonderful and successful event.
Well done. Regards
I thought the event went really well, a real boost to the village
It was a good turnout and most enjoyable
We had lots of positive reviews and feedback from visitors and would love to be considered back for next year
