We are delighted to announce the return of
Codsall Christmas Fair

The event date this year is Friday 7 December 2025

This page is to advise you of the arrangements for this year’s event

Since its inception in 2015, Codsall Christmas Fair has become the “go to” Christmas event in South Staffordshire attracting some 4,000 visitors to our village and really putting Codsall on the map. We are naturally very keen for the event to continue to be the success it is and, to this end, we have pleasure in confirming the arrangements for Codsall Christmas Fair 2025.

The event will again be located in the village centre with stalls and entertainment in Station Road, Wolverhampton Road, Wood Road and The Square. In addition, there will be the fairground on The Crown car park, bouncy castles at The Bull and a roundabout in the pedestrian area of Church Road

There will also be live music from three bands, street entertainment, plenty of hot food and drinks and up to 60 stalls selling a huge range of Christmas gifts, decorations and local produce.

The road closures will be from 12 midday to 8.30pm and will affect: Station Road: between the Square and Compton Hospice Shop Wolverhampton Road: Between the Square and Mount Gardens / entrance to Bakers Way car parks Wood Road: Between the Square and the bus turning lane, opposite Charlies Bar

There is no vehicle access to The Crown car park throughout the day or The Bull car park after 12 midday.

The road closures will leave unrestricted access to and from Wilkes Road, Bakers Way, Mount Gardens and the remainder of Wood Road, Wolverhampton Road and Station Road. Both Co-op car parks and the Bakers Way car parks will be unaffected and additional parking for visitors is also available at both the station and at the District Council offices so as to minimise congestion in the village.

Although businesses and most residents in Station Road and Wolverhampton Road have access to the rear of their premises, we do recognise that residents of Kenmare House in Station Road will not be able to bring vehicles in or out during the event. We would therefore suggest that if you are likely to need a vehicle, you may wish to leave it on one of the village car parks until the end of the event.

If businesses in Wood Road are expecting deliveries or collections, please advise all parties that they will not have access to the closed portion of Wood Road during the event. Our apologies for any inconvenience but it is only for a few hours and it is a very good cause.

For residents of The House by the Square in Wood Road, you will not have access to the closed portion of Wood Road so will be unable to access your car park. As with residents of Kenmare House, if you are likely to need a vehicle, you may wish to leave it on one of the village car parks until the end of the event.

To the residents of Wheel Avenue and Wilkes Road, we recognise that you have a right to park outside your homes but as these roads will be a temporary route for through traffic, if you have the option to park on your driveways, or elsewhere in the immediate area, just for the few hours whilst the Christmas Fair is on, this would be very much appreciated. Many thanks for your kind understanding.

Finally, please do not leave a vehicle anywhere in the Event Area as it will severely disrupt the event

We do hope you will come and enjoy the event. We hope it will again be a great success and an exciting start to the festive season. If you have any questions, please call Lewis Stovin on 07785 771404 or Megan Barrow on 07702 310939 or send an email to info@codsallchristmasfair.co.uk

Codsall Christmas Fair Group has had the honour of being voted “Volunteer Team of the Year” by Support Staffordshire for both 2021 and 2022. In addition, in 2025, we were awarded Certificate of Recognition from Support Staffordshire. These are great honours and reflect both the hard work that goes into staging this event but also the contribution the Christmas fair makes to the community of Codsall.
